Zhejiang Anji built-in furnace core transformation of rural traditional stove project
In 2018, SSM and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, Clean Cooking Alliance, Shell Energy and Social Welfare Department, Zhejiang Ecological Protection Station, Zhejiang Agricultural Office and many other units jointly carried out the Anji Traditional Stove Renovation Project. The project has entered the second phase.
Traditional stoves have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people as a cooking tool for the Chinese people for thousands of years. Today in the 21st century, most rural areas are in continuous use. When traditional stoves are in use, they release a large amount of black smoke and generate pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and PM, which intensifies the greenhouse effect and also affects the health of the people. The low combustion efficiency also brings waste of resources and extra labor.
Renovated stove by SSM:
Without changing the usage and appearance, the internal structure of the stove is modified to improve thermal efficiency and reduce air pollution. The products are well received by the people. After the renovation of the stove, the thermal efficiency by the field-test of Zhejiang University is about 36%, which is 85% higher than before the renovation, the carbon monoxide emission is reduced by 67%, the PM2.5 is reduced by 78%, and the cooking speed is increased by 92%, protecting users The physical and mental health of people has reduced air pollution。
