SSM won the Ashden International Renewable Energy Award “International Energy Champion”

We’re thrilled to share the new stove design which is SSM worked with American Aprovecho Research Center(ARC) to developed won the Ashden International Renewable Energy Award “International Energy Champion” in 2009.

Since 2006, SSM has cooperated with ARC to develop new wood stoves and successfully launched a new design of wood stove which is less than 50cm in height and 30cm in diameter. This stove is easy to carry, transport, and has outstanding performance in fuel saving, emission reduction, so it rapidly sold numerous in different countries of Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. More than 60,000 units had been distributed before we won this award.
